Instruments

"...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." - Philippians 2:13

The word 'instrument' can be defined as "a means whereby something is achieved, performed, or furthered."  Therefore, to be an instrument is described as being "used by another as a means or aid" to accomplish a purpose.

Instrument is from the Latin word 'instrumentum,' which is from 'instruere' meanign to arrange or instruct.

When we allow ourselves to be instruments for God's purposes, His arrangement begins to play in the concert of our life.
